Please let us know when you find your friend or loved one! Everyone likes to hear
about successful endings to other peoples searches. After all, they have been reading your
messages daily and have been wondering whatever happened to you! Besides, if you don't
tell us, your message will stay with us for a very long time! Unfortunately, most of the
time, the only time we hear from you again is when you try to answer someone else's
message and the e-mail address is bad!
We appreciate your telling us when you find your missing person so we
can remove your message, but we prefer to put stories in here from those who have said how
they found their missing person. Even if we didn't help you, your successful
reunions will help and encourage others. If you have a story you want included here,
just write to comments@the-seeker.com and
tell us HOW you found them.

I wish to thank you for
allowing me to post the search for my half sister on your web-site.
As of July 31, 2006 thanks to Dagmar Koch, another of your seekers
and an absolutely wonderful woman who is still searching her own
father yet gives of her precious time for others located my half
sister within a week and a half of my corresponding through e-mail
with her due to a mutual site www.suchmeldung.de
we both had ads placed with and our curiosities bringing us together about
one another more than a year ago. Something put us
together again after that brief meeting only after my father
had sadly passed within that time I started searching once
again, this time Dagmar found my sister! Not only
did she put me in contact with my sister she recently found the
family of another woman! I think it is in her heart not only
to help herself but to help others just like your site and all of
your search angels. I believe my father hoped to know his
daughter before he passed, sadly it was not to be but we both
believe he would be very, very happy for us indeed to have found one
another.
So now life takes on another
change, one that I cannot describe is most welcome. Sadly my
father never got to meet his beautiful daughter Dolores, he passed
away in June of 2005. I keep thinking how close it was and the
loss has been hard for all of us but we go on to learn, know, warmly
welcome with open hearts and arms and most of all love
unconditionally our beautiful sister.
Sites like The Seeker are
instrumental in making hopes and dreams possible. Keep up your
wonderful work! I would like to personally say thank you to
Linda and Simone for your help and kindness. I know there are
many others working if you will 'behind the scenes.' Please
keep up your important work, you might not realize the lives you
touch, but somehow I think that may be a part of the reason for you
doing it.
I think I might get to see my
sister and her husband this year, won't that be GREAT!!!
So, thank you seekers! I
have two brothers that I've also placed an ad for recently (Ad
Number: 115265) who hope to find their birth father or
other family though we've also been trying for a long time.
If it's to happen it will happen with time, in this type of
situation one learns patience if anything. I also hope for
Dagmar to find her father (Ad Number: 118466) and
(Ad Number: 118467) who sadly only holds his photograph
and first name with a little information about where he was
stationed with the Air Force when she was born. I hope people
will at least see the ad and look at the photographs, one just never
knows...

Hi,
I just wanted to thank The Seeker for all the help I was given looking for
my son's birth father. It only took two months to locate him and we all have
talked everyday since. We have a family reunion scheduled in Florida for the
Fourth of July so my son can meet all of his missing family. So, I would
just like to say please keep your faith and continue with The Seeker. There
is so much help here for anyone and everyone. God bless and thank you

What a
journey! Because of the Seeker, and a wonderful ANGEL on Earth, I found my
Birth Family.
January 24th was the exact date I made that very scary phone call, and my
birth mother answered the phone. However, before that, my search ANGEL
sent me so much great information, I cannot begin to thank her for this
great gift.
I found, met and began the bonding, with my Birth Mother, a living
Grandmother, and many living siblings, nieces, nephews, and greats, all
who wanted and welcomed me into their lives with open arms and hearts.
I am one of the lucky ones.
I now have a HUGE family to love, on both sides. Simone, YOU
ARE AN ANGEL on Earth. The Seeker, You are also a GIFT beyond
measure. Thank you so very much!

I would like to say thank you to Bob, Simone and all the search Angels who
helped. You found my fiance Barry's birth Mother. Four days
after I posted my information on the seeker I was talking with Deborah. Barry
and I have a beautiful 1 year old daughter named Madison, Deborah
was tickled pink to find out she was a Grandma. Barry was also excited
to find out that he has a sister and brother. Three weeks later Deborah
made a visit and we had a wonderful time. She brought the
polyester quilt she had knitted during her pregnancy 32 years ago. We all
had a few laughs about that, but we also knew that it was something
very special for both of them. We are already planning the next
visit.
The initial drive behind finding Deborah was to get a complete medical
history for Barry and Madison. Within minutes of talking with Deborah we
found out that she is a breast cancer survivor and we were able to
update my daughters medical records. Now, she and her doctor will both
know to watch out for it.
Again, thank you all so very much!!! Keep making dreams come true!!!
To anyone out there searching. Be patient! When it is meant to happen it
will! I believe that both sides have to be emotionally ready and
Barry wasn't until recently.

mother. From there I learned that I had two younger brothers and a
little sister. I talked on the phone with every single one of them and was

One night I was 'browsing' the net in search of a long lost brother when I
came across this website. I decided to go ahead and write a posting about
my brother whom was adopted in 1966 in Germany, I didn't have too much
info on him but provided all I could in my posting. A few days passed and
an E-mail came to me from a search angel with lots of name matches so I
browsed through them and decided to start calling the matches...a few days
later I received another E-mail with info on my brother's adoptive father!
I called the phone number to confirm and am happy to tell you that my
newly found brother and I have called each other every day for 2 weeks
straight! When I told my mom about it she couldn't believe how quickly he
was located and said that she always new there were Angels
out there to help find lost family members. I believe that everyone that
helped with info which was provided to me is truly an angel! Thank you so
much for allowing me to use your site to enlighten my family's life!

Thank you!! I finally found my family!! I lost contact with them shortly after my father's death in 1968. I have been searching for them actively for many years. Within 24 hours of posting on The Seeker, one of the Search Angels (Simone) was in contact with me and led me through the process. I have been posted on so many sites for so many years and for the first time I felt that I wasn't alone. I spoke to both of my Aunts for the first time in 35 years. After 27 years I finally found my birth father. I browsed through the website and found a link to some "angels". I picked an angel and the next day I was getting e-mails left and right. Needless to say I spoke with my father that night for the first time in 27 years!! The angels are amazing and I can't thank them enough for their help. I am one of a dozen children!
Miracles DO happen. I will never forget that. I have been
looking for my dad's best friend in Vietnam, Fernando "Fred" Paez
for my father, David Santaw. I'm not sure who found him, but I
received an email from him and his wife on Friday, 6/24/05 (sent by them on
Thursday, 6/23/05). My dad and Fred spoke for the first time in 38 years on
Friday morning. They plan to get together next February. It was
absolutely incredible to find him, and I thank all who read my message and
those who looked for him, and I thank God for getting them connected.
I'm not sure if an angel from this site helped, but I can't help but think
so. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I finally found
my birth father, after we have been separated for almost 18 years!!!
I used several adoption sites to do it, but it's been so wonderful to
have found him. Next line of work is to locate my brother. It's
been 6 or 7 years since I've seen him and I'd really like to find him
as well. Thanks for such wonderful sites like this, millions of
miracles have happened!! Thanks for what you do to help people, like

I want
to thank the angels at this site for finding my father for me whom I
haven't seen in 17 years. They not only found him, they found my aunt,
my sister, my brother, my grandmother and my uncle. A family that
I didn't know I had.
Simone is the one
that helped me out the most. I can now rest better and hope to fly
or drive to see them all this summer. I couldn't have done this
alone. Every site I went to wanted money but not this one.

site and several search Angels. The first Angel who contacted me was
able to find my sisters birth date. The second actually gave me her
name and her Parents current address and phone number. I began
searching for her and three weeks later I spoke to her for an hour.

"The Seeker." Bob E-mailed, me telling me he used Classmates dot com to look up a
potential match to my search. Well, that in return gave me the brainstorm I needed!! I
should just call the school and ask if they had a student graduate with that 1st name (1st
name is all I had to go on, other than the school and year of
graduation) and low and behold, they gave me his name and his parent's
name as well, I also talked to the school library
and they have a school yearbook with his picture!!! I am so excited!!! Thanks to The

Thirteen years had past
and I hadn't been in contact with my father or my four little sisters. For a long time I placed countless
messages on numerous search sights and came up empty handed. Completely
frustrated and almost at a loss for hope, I stumbled across The Seeker; I figured one more ad wouldn't hurt.
Less than 24hrs. I had an exact
address to my fathers residence. The phone number to the house was unlisted,
so I went on a hunch. I got a couple of friends and I took the short trip which felt like a life time; I just had to see for myself. I
walked upon a door step completely numb not knowing who or what to expect, and I was at a loss for words when it came to the moment of truth.
After thirteen years I found the missing pieces to my puzzled life. I
found my baby sisters!!! I'm still dumb-found, but at the same time...no one can wipe this smile off of my face; I'm a big sister now, literally... it feels good. I want to give much thankx to Simone... Without
your dedicated time and help, this day would've never existed. My
little sisters put this smile on my face, but you made that possible.
I'm so thankful for your help and the help of The Seeker. You're heaven
