Seek And Find

Sarasota's local "people search" talk program, "The Seeker", heard 2 to 3 pm Saturdays on Sarasota's WTMY 1280 AM, as well as live on the internet (http://www.tasteofthegoods.com:8000/listen.pls), has taken to the road.

Venice's host-of-many-talents, Linda Hammer, a Navy veteran and former private investigator who's also a newspaper columnist and Web publisher (www.the-seeker.com) is literally transmitting from different locations each week on her "Reuniting the World Tour", which began in November.

The weekly live call-in show, featuring guests such as adoption agents, genealogy specialists, folks who've found old friends, relatives, schoolmates, platoon members and the like, makes a couple of area appearances before moving on around the country.

This Saturday, the live remote of "The Seeker" airs 2 to 3 pm from Bradenton's Southside Athletic Club (Oakmont Plaza, 4901 Cortez Road West, 794-2090), and is open to the public.  Bennigan's provides refreshments.

Its adage: "If you can't find your friends and relatives through 'The Seeker', they have left the planet!"
